About Me
I recently earned my doctorate degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of California, Santa Barbara, where I developed a new framework for understanding the interaction between light and nanoscale particles. I graduated in the summer of 2017. This fall, I will serve a one-year term as the 2017-2018 SPIE-OSA/AAAS Science and Engineering Congressional Fellow in Washington D.C. This fellowship is my first step in transitioning to a career where I can apply my training as a scientist to evaluate and improve policy. |
